We are excited to participate in Teacher Appreciation Week here at Ponderosa Elementary School. This is the one week every year where we honor our hardworking public school teachers. Please help us celebrate our educators! The week will be full of themed lunches, little thank you gifts, and small ways of saying THANK YOU to all our teachers and staff for what they do for our kids all year long.

​In addition to daily donated and PTA sponsored lunches and treats, we will also be having a daily Gift Card Drawing. We are asking parents to donate gift card or cards in the amount of $10. Each day during the morning announcements, Mr. Austin will randomly pick names from a hat and a teacher or staff member can win a gift card! You can turn your gift card donation into Jaime anytime between now and Monday, May 13 at the front office and indicate it is for the Teacher Appreciation Drawing.

If you ALSO want to honor your individual teachers, the PTA has come up with a daily theme of THANKS so your child can bring a little sunshine to their day: 
Monday: Take your teacher a flower or plant
Tuesday: Bring your teacher a treat or candy
Wednesday: Bring your teacher a piece of fruit
Thursday: make a card or picture for your teacher
